I Hated Public Speaking but Now I have Improved Kaizenly
27 Jan 2025
Public speaking has always been my greatest fear. The thought of standing in front of an audience, even for something as simple as a class pitch or a regular presentation, left me shaking from head to toe. Each time, I would try to rush through it, repeating in my head, “It will be over soon.” But something changed when I crossed paths with Bong Sin Kosal. Having met him at TEDx and again recently at UXFest, his advice has been a game-changer. UXFest, in particular, has been a transformative experience for me. The event not only provided me with valuable insights but also gave me the platform to face my fears and improve step by step. Although I’m still a work in progress and may not deliver the most impactful speeches yet, I’m incredibly grateful for these opportunities. UXFest has been a cornerstone of my improvement, introducing me to inspiring people and creating an environment that encourages growth. Every moment there has been a reminder of how far I’ve come, and I’m truly thankful for the chance to keep learning, growing, and becoming better.
